Beer Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

-2 cups All-purpose flour

-1 TBSP sugar

-1 Package active dry yeast

-1 tsp baking powder

-1 tsp coarse salt

-3/4 cup lager beer, warmed to 105F

-1 TBSP olive oil


Directions:

1. In a large bowl, mix 1 cup of the flour, sugar, yeast, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the beer and oil until smooth. Stir in the remaining 1 cup of flour to make a soft dough. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

2. On a pizza pan, spray cooking oil. Press the dough evenly into a 13-inch round. Patting and using the heel of your hand to push the dough out from the center, build up a 1/2-inch rim around the dough.

3. Spread your favorite ingredients on the pizza. Preheat the oven to 425F and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
